993 (1996 to 1998) must use non-priming version
The Pump-Prime Relay is compatible with the following models:
944 (All Models Except Cabriolet)
944 Turbo (All Models Except Cabriolet)
968 Coupe (All Models Except Cabriolet)
964 (All Models Except Turbo & Cabriolet)
924s (All Models)
993 (1994 to 1995 Except Turbo)
"Pump-Prime" (Optional Feature)
The Pump-Prime feature automatically runs the fuel pump for up to 3 seconds when the ignition is switched to the "On" position. This builds optimum fuel pressure before cranking the engine, insuring your Porsche starts as fast and as smooth as it possibly can.
“Diagnostics”
This optional feature allows you to instantly know the state of the DME Relay. It features four LEDs that are directly connected to the critical inputs and outputs of the relay. All four LEDs must be illuminated for the engine to start and run. If one or more LED(s) are off , there is an issue with the corresponding circuit.
Ignition SW – (Yellow) Input signal to power up fuel injection system and enable fuel pump control.
Fuel Inj. Power – (Red) Output indicating the fuel injection system is powered up.
Ctl. Fuel Pump – (Blue) Input signal indicating the DME has commanded the fuel pump on.
Fuel Pump – (Green) Output indicating the fuel pump is powered up.
