when your car was new the fuel pump was protected by this hard rubber cover its there for 2 reasons 1 - to protect the pump 2- to keep the pump quiet they have , over the years , been discarded when a new pump was installed Porsche has recently re released these and I do have it available fits all - 944 - 944s - 944 turbo - 944s2 -968 from 85/2 to 1995 and no it does not come with a new pump the pump is shown strictly for the purpose of showing how it fits thank you
