This is a replacement bulb socket for your rear tail light. This can be used to replace old corroded sockets or to add a additional bulb in the empty slot on your tail light board.
We all know how dim the tail lights can be on our 944's. Alot of time it is due to the condition if these bulb holder sockets. These are the pieces that sanp into the bulb holder panel that attaches to the back of the lens.
It is very common for the olds ones to be rusted or corroded and in a condition that will not allow the bulb to make good contact and get the correct supply of power that it should.
This will fit all year and model 944 tail lights.
